Established in 1997, as a not-for-profit organisation, The Australian Asian Chamber of Commerce and Industry promotes business, trade, investment, professional, cultural, educational and tourism cooperation between South Australia and Asia.
With South Australia’s strong ‘Sister State’ links with the influential Shandong province and China becoming Australia’s largest two-way trading partner and a global superpower, our focus has become even more imperative.
AACCI’s strategic alliances with the South Australian and Asian government bodies, associations, industry bodies, private enterprises and media, means we have all the right connections to provide a platform for business, trade, investment and cultural exchanges between South Australia and Asia.
Unlike other South Australian business associations which are focused on local membership, The Australian Asian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with its dynamic committee of prominent business owners and influential professionals, aims to attract both local and overseas members whilst promoting cross border co-operation.
From the 20 to 23 November 2023, AACCI will host 5 members of a trade delegation from the Hebei Port Group who will explore trade and investment opportunities in South Australia. Facilitated by AACCI, an MOU will be signed by Flinders Port Holdings to promote trade and business opportunities between South Australia and the rest of China in logistics and international trade.
The Australian Asia Chamber of Commerce of Industry (AACCI) is hosting the largest inbound Chinese delegation since the market opened earlier this year. Around 80 delegates from southern China from diverse sectors, including food and beverage, tourism, real estate, education, health and wellbeing, manufacturing, High-tech and IT, will converge in South Australia to explore commercial opportunities. The Chinese business delegates consisting of CEO’s and senior managers will be exploring opportunities to trade with South Australian businesses. The local SA Businesses that attend the Expo will be invited to attend a prestigious dinner where they can continue networking with the Chinese business delegation.
